Practical Tips

  • 1
    Carry a water bottle

The 500-meter uphill walk can be tiring, especially in warm weather. Hydrate before and during the climb.

  • 2

The steep hill path requires sturdy, comfortable footwear. You will remove shoes at the cave entrance.

  • 3
    Secure belongings from monkeys

Monkeys are present along the hill path. Keep bags zipped, avoid displaying food, and stay alert.

  • 4
