Guidelines for donations to Sri Gangadhareshwara Seva Trust.

This Donation Policy outlines the guidelines, categories, and terms governing donations made to Sri Gangadhareshwara Seva Trust ("the Trust") for the benefit of Shri Kailasagiri Guhantara Devalaya ("the Temple") and its charitable activities.
1. About the Trust
Sri Gangadhareshwara Seva Trust was established in 1994 with the mission of constructing and maintaining the Kailasagiri Cave Temple complex and conducting charitable activities for the benefit of devotees and the local community.
The Trust is a registered religious and charitable trust operating under the laws of India. It oversees all temple operations, including daily worship, Anna Danam (free meal program), temple construction and development, and community welfare activities.
2. Donation Categories
Donations to the Trust can be directed toward the following categories:
Anna Danam (Free Meals Program)
Support the daily free meal program that has been serving over 400 devotees every day since 2001. Your contribution helps provide nutritious vegetarian meals to all temple visitors at no charge. This is one of the core charitable activities of the Trust.
Temple Development
Contribute toward the ongoing construction, expansion, and enhancement of the cave temple complex. This includes new cave construction, sculpture work, infrastructure development, and beautification of the temple premises.
General Donations
General contributions that support the overall operations of the temple, including daily worship, festivals, maintenance, priest salaries, utilities, and other operational needs. The Trust allocates general donations based on the most pressing needs.
3. Tax Benefits
Donations to Sri Gangadhareshwara Seva Trust are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

4. Accepted Modes of Donation
The Trust currently accepts donations through the following modes:
- UPI (Unified Payments Interface): Quick and convenient digital payment. Contact the temple office for UPI details.
- Bank Transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS): Direct transfer to the Trust's bank account. Contact the temple office for bank account details.
- Cash: Cash donations are accepted at the temple office during temple hours (6:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
Coming Soon: Online payment gateway integration for convenient credit/debit card and net banking donations through the website.
5. Donation Receipts
Official donation receipts are issued for all donations of ₹500 and above. Receipts include:
- Trust name and registration details
- Donor name and contact information
- Donation amount and date
- Donation category (Anna Danam, Temple Development, or General)
- 80G registration details (for tax deduction claims)
For donations below ₹500, receipts can be provided upon request. For cash donations, receipts are issued at the temple office at the time of donation.
6. Use of Funds
Sri Gangadhareshwara Seva Trust is committed to transparent and accountable use of all donated funds. Donations are allocated toward the following areas:
- Anna Danam: Procurement of food ingredients, cooking supplies, kitchen maintenance, and staff for the daily free meal program
- Temple Construction & Development: Ongoing cave construction, sculpture work, structural improvements, and infrastructure
- Maintenance: Daily cleaning, lighting, water supply, electrical systems, and general upkeep of the temple complex
- Priest Salaries: Compensation for temple priests who conduct daily worship and special sevas
- Utilities: Electricity, water, sanitation, and other operational utilities
- Festivals & Events: Organizing festivals such as Maha Shivaratri, Karthika Pournami, and other special celebrations
7. Accountability
The Trust maintains audited accounts that are reviewed annually by qualified auditors. The Trust is committed to financial transparency and accountability in the management of all donated funds.
Donors may request information about the Trust's financial statements by contacting the temple office. The Trust complies with all regulatory requirements for financial reporting and disclosures.
8. Non-Refundable Donations
All voluntary donations made to Sri Gangadhareshwara Seva Trust are non-refundable. Donations are considered voluntary religious contributions made at the donor's own discretion.

9. Foreign Donations
